In the captivating month of April 2021, I found myself meandering down a local street, affectionately known for its picturesque display of magnolia trees. The scene that greeted my eyes was nothing short of breathtaking. The trees, adorned with their resplendent blossoms, formed a canopy of delicate petals, their soft hues painting the street in a symphony of pastel colours.

As I strolled along, marveling at the enchanting sight, I noticed a small branch being carried away by a gentle breeze. Determined to preserve the transient beauty of the moment, I hurried home with the branch in hand, hoping that the fragile petals would not succumb to the journey. To my relief, they remained intact, and I lovingly placed the branch in a vase filled with water, offering it a temporary sanctuary.

The magnolia, with its stunning blossoms, has long been a symbol of beauty and purity. As I admired the flowers in their new setting, I couldn't help but be captivated by their graceful elegance. The petals, with their velvety texture and subtle gradient of colours, seemed to embody the very essence of nature's artistry. The delicate fragrance that filled the room only added to the allure, evoking a sense of serenity and tranquility.

With each passing day, I found myself increasingly enchanted by the magnolias' ethereal beauty. Inspired by the magnolias, I decided to immortalise them on canvas, capturing their essence through delicate brushstrokes and a palette of soft, soothing colours.

This is a signed limited edition print that is designed to fit a 15" x 12" or 16" x 20" picture frame with a mount (which is not supplied). The print is protected with acid-free tissue paper and is produced using archival premium quality Canon Lucia Pigmented ink. It's printed on 280gsm Soft White 25% Cotton Archival Fine Art Paper, which ensures a minimum display life of 100 years under normal conditions.
