Roses in a Jade Vintage Jar

Created in September 2022, this painting features a beloved West German ceramic vase in a stunning jade colour. A treasured find from a local flea market several years prior, the vase has since been a cherished addition to my collection. What I find particularly captivating is the way the afternoon sun plays upon its surface, casting a mesmerising dance of light and shadow that accentuates the intricate pattern adorning the vase.

As you may have already guessed, roses hold a special place in my heart. Their unapologetic elegance, romanticism, and beauty are truly unmatched.
